All tenant AI provider keys (Anthropic and OpenAI) are now encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before being written to the database. Keys are decrypted in memory only for the duration of a single API call.
At this point SikloAI enforced strict bring-your-own-key for every plan — no shared platform API key was used for live responses, and token costs went directly to Anthropic or OpenAI with zero margin. (Update: a capped, platform-funded free trial was introduced in June 2026 — see above.)
